The membership number on your ID card allows Emergency Personnel and Good Samaritans to gather critical information to needed to assist you in the event you are unable to do so for yourself.

If you're worried about security...Don't be! They will only be able to get information that you've provided, such as your Name, Height, Weight, Eye and Hair Color, and the names of Emrgency Contacts including the language that you and your contacts speak.
