Luis Gutierrez Roy
Mr. Gutierrez resides in Barcelona (Spain) and serves on ME911's Strategic Advisory Board guiding the company on its expansion strategy in the US and Europe. He is currently a Managing Partner with Telegraph Hill Capital (THCAP), a US-based fund which invests in mobile, wireless and digital media companies.
Prior to THCAP, he was the Managing Director of Ernst & Youngs Corporate Finance practice in Barcelona and headed the Technology, Medications & Telecom group in Spain. He joined E&Y after previous experience at PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC), where he was a Corporate Finance Associate Director, and also Houlihan Valuation Advisors, a Corporate Finance firm present in several US cities. He started his professional career as a financial analyst for the Barcelona Stock Exchange.
Luis has been involved in M&A transactions in Europe, the US, Asia and Latin America, and has provided financial advisory to companies in various sectors, particularly Telecommunications, Media and Technology. Luis Gutiérrez has a BS in Economics and Business Administration from the Universidad de Barcelona. He also is a MBA from the University of San Francisco. He speaks English, French, Catalan and Spanish.
John Zdanowsky
Mr. Zdanowsky serves on ME911's Strategic Advisory Board with strong expertise
in finance and entrepreneurship. John has always excelled at whatever he's focused on. He was an Eagle Scout as a kid, in the 8th grade he programmed a computer to solve Rubik's Cube. He was number two in his high school class, still holds the school record in the pole vault, and he graduated with his first college degree in just 3 years.
He has his MBA from Harvard Business School, an MS in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Syracuse University, and a BS in Electrical Engineering from Clarkson University.
He's led or arranged 14 acquisitions, one IPO, five private equity investments and two debt transactions totaling over $500m for companies he either founded or joined as CFO.
John has so many amazing accomplishments, and he loves building businesses as much as anyone, but his greatest joy in life is his time spent with the wife and kids playing games and enjoying each other.
